Roxana D. Maiorescu-Murphy conducts research and consulting on communication management and social media. Her work revolves predominantly around employee communication, organizational culture, diversity in the workplace, and crisis management. She published her research in Public Relations Review, Journal of Communication Management, Business Research Yearbook, International Journal of Interdisciplinary Research, and Clinics in Mother & Child Health.
She is the author of two books on communication management in corporate settings. Her latest monograph, Corporate Diversity Communication Strategy: An Insight into American MNCs’ Online Communities and Social Media Engagement (Palgrave Macmillan, 2019) was named one of the top twenty best communication strategy books to read in 2020 (BOOVE, The Online Book Magazine).
Roxana served as a reviewer for Oxford University Press, Routledge, Palgrave Macmillan, Public Relations Review, Journal of Applied Communication Research, and The Austrian Science Fund, to name a few. She is the founder of Totality-Communications, a Boston-based consulting company that develops communication strategies for corporations and nonprofits and assists entrepreneurs who are retirees, U.S. Army veterans, and first responders.
